Onboarding: Train the Trainers

Dear all,

we would like to invite you all to a test session before the main event that will be held on Monday, 1st of June from 12pm till 13pm CEST. During this time period you need to test that you can login on the training platform, access the Onboarding training course, and participate in the webinar room in a listen only mode. During this period we will be on stand by and respond promptly to any problems that you might have. Please inform us about any technical issues by writing an email to sonja.filiposka@finki.ukim.mk.

This test is especially important for new platform users that have not used the system before and we strongly encourage them to do the test. 

For the new platform users, this is a short manual on how to login and access the webinar room:

1. Go to training.ni4os.eu
2. Click on the big blue NI4OS Login button
3. Choose your institution from the list, or use a social login depending on the email address you provided during registration (if you provided us with an institutional email and your institution is not in the list, please send us an email with your gmail address so that we can transfer you to social login)
4. Go through the normal authentication process of your provider
   
5. If login is successful you should be seeing your personal dashboard page, if not please send us an email so that we can resolve the issue.
6. You should see the Onboarding course on the left hand side menu, by clicking on it you will be transferred to the training course web pages
7. The webinar room is accessed by following the link to the NI4OS webinar room (please make sure you use Chrome or Safari browser, you can also do this from your mobile phone)
8. Choose Listen only or microphone mode depending on whether you need to talk or not
9. If there are any problems with the audio or presentation view you can inform us in the public chat

Do not forget that there are also other self-paced online courses available on the platform, that you can access any time.
