The development of EOSC is underway and this years end should mark the completion of the initial EOSC MVP. The strategy that sets the priorities on how to move forward and what are the next challenges to be tackled is being finalised in the form of a new SRIA and the new EOSC Task Forces are working in their respective fields. In this context, NI4OS-Europe has continued with its efforts to promote FAIR and EOSC in the region and to help users and service providers reap the benefits of the newly developed Open Science environment.
The objectives of this event is to provide updates for the community on the current developments regarding EOSC from both the users and the service providers perspective. The speakers will aim to introduce the participants to the latest activities regarding EOSC, NI4OS-Europe and EOSC-Future and how they lead to the next stage of developing the European Open Science Initiative.
There will be discussions about the updates of the SRIA and MAR, and the EOSC TFs. Speaker from the EOSC-Future project will discuss the latest work on the EOSC Portal and establishment of strong connections to the user community via the EOSC Future Users Group and the RDA Open Calls. Our service on-boarding team will provide updates for service providers and discuss the EOSC Interoperability Framework. The Repositories Certification process will also be presented and our speaker will share the extensive experience in this area.
