2020 is the year when online meeting platforms revive.
Do you know how to use them?
Sure, all of us are experienced presenters when it comes to in-person events. But what about online training platforms? Do you know how to engage your audience while hosting a virtual workshop? How to pique their attention and keep it alive during the entire session?
We invite you to join our webinar on August 31st to learn all about online training platforms, from structure through creating and maintaining breakout groups, whiteboards, recording a sessions, or saving polls and creations for later, to hosting an ultimately successful virtual meetup. Learn how to have a Zoom meeting where attendees leave pleased and the event is considered efficient.
Create the Event Plan
Whether big or small, offline or online, every event should have a strategy. Start with a key goal and concept, then take it from there. The earlier you can get planning, the better.
Before hosting a virtual event, answer the following questions:
- What kind of experience do you hope to deliver?
- Will the event be live, on-demand, or both?
- Where do I want the content to be seen?
- Will access be gated or free?
- When is the best time for the event?
- Will you require event registration?
- How will you promote the event?
- Do you plan to work with an advertiser or other partner?
- Will people still have access to the event once it’s over?
- What KPIs and data do you plan to track?
In this page you will get answers to the following questions. What is a Virtual Event? What are the benefits of online events? What’s the difference between a virtual event and a webinar? Why Should You Host Virtual Events?
What is a Hybrid event?
A hybrid event is any event — conference, training seminar, trade expo, etc. — that combines live, in-person elements with digital, online components. Hybrid events have grown in popularity over the past decade or so because they allow event organizers to reach a wider audience, improve event ROI (return on investment), and give companies access to valuable data points they otherwise wouldn't have.
